Charles has accumulated over 30 year’s experience in the field of corporate training and human resource development.

He began his career in the British civil service where he spent six years in the Manpower Services Commission/Training and Enterprise Council. Then he located to Hong Kong in 1992, and worked in public relations and advertising, allowing him to gain in-depth experience in project and client management, business development, media relations, and to also further refine his “in-front-of-room” presentation skills working at numerous stage-events.

He returned to the training field with an American founded company – AsiaWorks, in their corporate training division, and was fortunate enough to be under the mentorship of some of the world’s leading experiential learning trainers. 

His main responsibilities were to provide client management, consultancy, training design, and lead workshop delivery for clients such as Merrill Lynch, Charles Schwab, Bank of China International Holdings Ltd, Citigroup Private Bank, DBS Bank, ING Insurance, and many more.  Charles maintains his relationship with AsiaWorks as one of their lead associate trainers.

Charles’ mother language is English and has a conversational understanding of Cantonese.  He has a Masters in Strategic Human Resources Management from The Hong Kong Baptist University and currently lives in Hong Kong.
